It not only has excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties and chemical resistance, but also is suitable for miniaturization because of its light weight and extremely low thickness.
Due to the versatility of PEEK film, secondary operations can be facilitated. It provides durability, strength and high temperature resistance in high performance laminates.
These unique properties have made PEEK films recognized in a wide range of markets, especially in aerospace, electronics, acoustics, automotive, industrial and more.
– High Heat Resistance. The melting point of PEEK film is 343°C and the long-term use temperature of up to 260°C
– Excellent Electrical Properties And Insulation Properties. It still has excellent insulation and stable electrical properties under high temperature, high pressure, high frequency, high speed, high humidity and other environments.
– Flexibility. At present, the flexibility of PEEK film is among the best in the high-temperature resistant film products on the market, which is better than polyimide(PI) and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) films.
– Excellent Acoustic Properties. Excellent response, low distortion, High internal damping, low ringing
– Broad Chemical Resistance. Insoluble in most acid-base solvents. Superior chemical resistance than many exotic metals.
– Hydrolysis Resistance. It can be used for a long time under 200°C steam.
– Radiation Resistance. It has excellent resistance to various radiations and can withstand high doses of gamma rays without changing its physical properties.
– Dimensional Stability. PEEK film has extremely low water absorption and linear thermal expansion coefficient.
– Excellent Wear Properties. TaberH10 wheel wear amount 0.00027. Naturally lubricated with very smooth surface finish and low particles.
– Good Flame Resistance. PEEK film with a certain thickness is self-flammable, and the combustion products are low-smoke and non-toxic.
– Purity. Exceptionally low outgassing and extractables.
